Become a member and help us to save our valley’s heritage, preserving history for the future.

Torfaen Museum Trust is a registered charity which safeguards and collects Torfaen’s historical and cultural artefacts on behalf of the public, as well as collecting works by local artists. The Trust is based at Amgueddfa Torfaen Museum in Pontypool, along with nearly twenty-thousand items.

By becoming a member, your support and contribution will help to store, preserve and conserve our rich and diverse local history for future generations. By joining us, your contribution will support the care of our collections including their conservation, new interpretation and events, as well as learning and education tools within the Museum. It costs as little as 48p per week to support us.

All memberships valid from 1st April to 31st March.

Gift vouchers for membership purchased as Christmas gifts are valid from the following April.

Why not Gift Aid your Subscription?

Gift Aid is the Government scheme which allows charitable organisations to reclaim tax on Membership subscriptions and donations. If you are a UK taxpayer (including pensions) and you tick the box on the subscription form, the Trust will receive an extra 25p for every £1 received.
